Old Salts Fly Fishing Club

Toward the end of 2006, I learned about the Gulf Coast Council.  It would be an organization that would unite Federators from the south who target warm water and saltwater species.  The organization would provide a venue for these fishing styles and in May 2007 the organization held its first conclave.  I didn’t attend, but I knew that if it had the right members it would be successful.  Now in its second season, the Gulf Coast Council will hold its second conclave on May 16-17, 2008 in Lake Charles Louisiana.  For more information about the GCC visit its website at http://www.gulfcoastfff.org/.  Happy reading and see you in Louisiana.
